Who Put That @$%^#*(%$! Groundhog In Charge?
They say it's an inch of new snow, but I could swear I shoveled more than that and it is still coming down.

We just need the roads to be clear tomorrow to get to Cincinnati to fly to the UK.

Where, I know, there is lots of snow on the ground.

We should perhaps pack a sledge for hauling instruments.

And on a flight which will hopefully not be diverted to Prestwick. :)

Waitaminit! Prestwick is a cool airport!

Unfortunately, let's be more specific: You have to get to Kentucky. And that six miles between the river and the airport exit ain't exactly flat. Please be careful.

We come around on 275 so we don't dive down to the river level and claw our way back up, but the point is definitely taken.

When my father is in Florida we have custody of the 4x4. It may very well be worth the extra gas money to have the oomph. We'll check the roads tomorrow and see.

Weather here is currently 4.5 deg C and everything is defrosting quite enthusiastically. You'll be fine over this side of the pond :-)

If there's room in your case, is there any chance of slinging in your low F whistle???

They were showing clear for Friday, but they've now put a warning up (they already had one for Thursday).

There have been warnings of a second load of snow for Friday... The sledge sounds like a good idea! :)
