Back From Funeral
Just got back from the funeral for kestrels_nest's father. It was a bit difficult to get to, mainly the "clearing out driveway so I could get to Dad's 4x4" part, along with the "you mean we should clear snow off 86th street? How droll!" part.

I was glad to represent many of the people I know would have been there had it not been for the weather.

It was a lovely service and, though I never met her father, it became abundantly clear that the apple does not fall far from the tree.

min0taur and Sally did yeoman work this morning helping to dig out family members and get them places on time.

In other news, while I was gone ladyat caught some exercise by tackling a portion of the driveway. A neighbor with a Bobcat graciously volunteered to help out and we now have a plowed driveway and parking lot.

In the meantime, East 43rd St. has been plowed by an INDOT worker with a pickup truck and plow. My car is still parked on the road. I couldn't make it up the hill last night. Tonight I'll work to dig it out some more so I can get to work tomorrow. Either that or I'll take IndyGo.
