Home from GAFilk. The new hotel was very well received and everyone seems very happy that we'll be back next year. The hotel staff loved us and is also very happy we'll be back next year.

Our guests were fantastic - what fun to finally meet The Brobdingnagian Bards - thanks to Interfilk for sending them to us!

This year was much less stressful for me since I didn't have to ferry loads of stuff to the con and home again (usually taking 2 or 3 trips). As always the rest of the concom and staff did their jobs admirably, leaving me with little to do other than tweak hotel arrangements and do "stupid checks" before we released each room.

autographedcat was presented with the Sacred Hotel Contract at the end of the con and is now in charge of our little party. He'll do a great job leading us into the next decade.

Our attendance was high but we were missing some regulars due to bouts of life. Thanks to everyone who came to the con and we hope to see all of you next year!

Thank you for good con. I had a good time @ my first GaFilk. I will be back. Harold S.

I had been wondering whether the attendance overall had dipped. I've got a list that is now 9 names long of folks I normally see at GaFilk but who weren't there for this year (and I left out all the Seattle types that I know are ramping-up for Conflikt).

How many people were there, anyway?

And I never did remember to buy next year's membership & banquet once I'd gotten the CD box. *sigh*

Again, excellent con! I rather enjoyed the guests myself. ;-)

Thanks so much for the chance to sing. It's always wonderful to see you and ladyat. Dunno if we'll be back next year, but certainly by the year after.

I miss being able to get to things lost out here in the wilds of the midwest... blast from the past, it's Kat (Thompson) now Hilmer. The Brobdingnagian Bards rock. I'm jealous. :D
