Not Quite So Much Stuff
I got to talking to my dad as I drove him to the airport today. While 28 foot seemed pretty big on first mention, it really isn't anything more than a large rental truck.

Given that information, I'm not quite as stressed as I thought about having too much clutter even after weeks and months of winnowing.

There will still be a lot of Stuff, especially kitchen goods, and we're looking at a lot of organization to get it in here without looking like... well, like Piles O' Stuff. I think it may all turn out to either be Justified Stuff or Stuff We Could Have Given Away But Didn't And Will Do So Once It Is Here. I don't think there will be too much Unmitigated Crap. Except for the packing materials, that is, but the cardboard and paper recycling is merely 15 minutes away once the unpacking is done.

We'll see how it turns out if/when the main load gets here.

I think that 28' is what I drove with all my worldly belongings in to Atlanta...

That explains a lot.

Re: the cubbies
Now, the amount of Guinness on Friday night might be problematic...

To be honest, I get the Trib email newsletter so I keep up with the Cubbies pretty well. Should they ever actually manage to do something silly like win the pennant or the World Series, though, I'll definitely want a hardcopy edition.
