I've just been informed by ladyat that the "small amount of stuff" we still had in the house has managed to fill a 28 foot truck.

And they still haven't gotten to the storage unit yet.

I find this hard to believe, as we have almost no furniture and each room I personally packed yielded about 3 boxes.

I have a funny feeling a truck full of packing paper and padding will be here tomorrow. Not that there's anything wrong with that, considering the alternative.

The driver will be contacting the moving company for another truck to get the stuff in the storage unit. Luckily, we have a guaranteed price, so it shouldn't cost us any more. It better not, anyway.

Meanwhile, I'm hoping there's enough room here for everything without piling it up too much. Big rooms but no closet space, and no garage...

Mmmm, kitchen stuff takes up an awful lot of boxes, usually. As do books/CDs/DVDs/Videos, if any of those were left in shelves... ;)

I keep getting rid of things yet I still have a pile more to go through. I have finally decided to reduce all saved papers to electronic files, and get rid of the paper. This is a difficult choice - I like having papers in my hands. But the boxes are too much.

I want my life to be paked up and ready to go anywhere, without the 28 foot truck.

28 foot truck, hmm?
What, did you forget to pack the recording studio?
Seriously, from what I've heard, that hardly seems surprising. Congrats on getting the price guaranteed, that was a major coup in this day and age.
Expecting to see you guys at OVFF and Chambana. And when will those house filks start happening in Danville? (hint, hint)
