I'm Late! I'm Late!
Storms in Dallas caused a large number of flight cancellations last night. My flight to Columbus for Marcon was among them.

After 3 hours in line and an hour on hold on the phone, I got rescheduled for a flight on Saturday evening. That means my concerts Friday have had to be cancelled, and that I would miss the Three Weird Sisters concerts (therefore being unable to help with sound and provide microphones).

I am not a happy puppy.

I stayed up last night and watched for cancellations and open seats, so I finally managed to get a flight out this evening. It still doesn't get in until after my concert slots, but at least I'll be able to help with the 3WS concerts.

I am looking for earlier flights (I missed being able to get out at 8:30 this morning by a few seconds), but given the nnumer of flights cancelled last night I doubt that this will happen.

Bugger, good luck on another flight. I hope the weekend gets better from here on.

Bill, my brother, I'll be thinking of you on Sunday, in front of the TV with a beer, watching INDY!

Go Marco!

There seems to be something about y'all getting to Marcon and SOMETHING coming up to make you late (*thinking back a couple of years*).

Good luck getting there in time to be able to get sorted.

(And consider looking at the sortof alternative airports, as well - Dayton, Cinci, and Akron)

...should I bring my microphones? (She asks, though planning to go straight from work to Marcon this evening, and with no plans to go home until it's over).

I'm with Maughan. Bugger. If I were where you are I'd be blowing cash on clove cigarettes, a bottle of Gosling's Gold and some ginger beer. My sympathies, Bill. I don't suppose you got to goto Scarborough while you were out there...?
