UNICEF and the Smurfs
Question - does this make filkertom's work politically incorrect?

It's well-established in the show that there are no Smurf children, though they all allow Papa Smurf to treat them like children. So this show is unfair to Smurf-haters.

But now you've got me imagining it with "Smurfin' Safari" for theme music.

I read the first paragraph as "... village was annihilated by vampires". Much more realistic...

My word. I can't decide whether to cheer ('cos I'm in favour of shocking people out of their complacency) or faint ('cos my poor ickle bwain can't handle the inconguity).

Now wait just a cotton-smurfin' minute. My stuff has always been politically incorrect.

By comparison, the UNICEF video makes Tom look politically correct.

Damn, that's sad. The UNICEF video, that is, not Tom being politically correct. Well, Tom being politically correct is sad too. Oh, you know what I mean.

If anything, it makes filkertom's work politically correct -- which is a very scary thought.
