St. Patrick's Day
Yeah, we're home from the UK Filk Con and have lots of things to tell about, but (as expected) the workload has been crushing since I got back. The only thing I have time to tell everyone (because I know lots some a few one of you will be interested) is that Brenda and I will be playing again at lunchtime (Noon to 2 pm) March 17 at the Ugly Mug Pub in Duluth.

We'll post again as we get more scheduled, but now you have no excuse not to come out for a big Corned Beef and Cabbage lunch!

So that's where our anniversary party is?
Hmmm... I'll have to check with spiritdance... We didn't realize that our anniversary party was in Duluth, GA, this year.

Actually, we may be (just visiting, not playing) in Baltimore at a pub that you and Brenda ought to go to -- B&B could probably get a gig there, in fact. I can't recall the exact name of it, but I bet that spiritdance can.

An Poitin Stihl, IIRC. It's a couple of blocks from the Darkover hotel in Timmonium (on the same road as the main entrance to the fairgrounds). I could drive to it more or less on memory :-). Good band (what we caught of the end of their set, anyhow) on the Sat we had dinner there, and really wonderful Irish Stew.

(Best bet, actually, would be to ask France or Steven Joel)

Better yet, I found a link to their website (which is new, I think - at least I don't recall any info on a website from our visit there in November).

Well worth a visit if you are anywhere in the vicinity ;-)

I'd love to be there, but I have about 650 excuses.

Ah! Duluth, GEORGIA. I really was wondering why you'd wandered as far from your normal haunts as northern Minnesota.

What's your set going to be? We are Paddy Gigging this year too, and don't know what to play... A word from experts would be greatly appreciated.

Well, I have one excuse. Or about 5000 of them in miles *g*. Not that I wouldn't /like/ to, y'understand...
