Yes, It Was Incredible
As others have commented, The Incredibles is.

autographedcat, khaosworks, kitanzi, ladyat and I all went to see it Saturday night.

If poor kitanzi hadn't been suffering from a headache, we'd have all stayed to watch it again.

What absolute joy to laugh like that again.

Weekend of the 12th.

Rule number 137 of the Sutton Household - if you got scheduling info from ladyat, get a second opinion.

Erm ... hi, Brenda ...

Bill: Are you an ELO fan (or did the radio happen to be playing "overproduced hits of the 70s and 80s?")

"overproduced hits of the 70s and 80s?"

Wasn't that a K-Tel Collection?

Hey, now, don't pick on ELO. Jeff Lynne was the first producer whose work I learned to recognize no matter whose project he was working on (like that's hard, but still...)

Why would I pick on ELO? I happen to own every album they released (including one pre-ELO when they were called "The Move," two of the ELO: Part 2 albums, Jeff Lynne's solo album, Kelly Grocutt's solo album, and the recently-released ELO album produced by Jeff Lynne) in one form or another -- vinyl, 8-track, cassette, and CD. I even own the Tom Petty and Roy Orbison albums Jeff produced, as well as both of the Traveling Wilburys CDs.

I put the "over-produced" line in there because that is the most common criticism I've heard.

Ah nuts - I was hoping to get you guys to go see it with us next weekend. :)

Amanda and Z went yesterday, and Amanda liked it but thought it too violent for the Zster, although she is showing no ill effects. :)

We'd LOVE to go again!

I guess I'll go see a matinee this afternoon -- alone (sighs ostentatiously in a cheap bid for attention, then ruins the effect by grinning)...
