Weight State  

Now comes the challenge - the last time I went on Weight Watchers maintenance I immediately shot up 5 pounds because I let down way too much.

On the running side, for those who didn't see on other fora, ladyat and I ran the Danville Blanton Woods 5K on 4th of July. I came in at 29 minutes.

She is considering a 10K in Plainfield in September. I am considering that she is crazy and just doing my thrice-weekly 30 minute run.

Congratulations on the weight-loss and the run.

I'm still in the first 5 pounds of my goal for this year. I am also about 7 weeks out from a marathon in September.

Good luck to ladyat on the 10K whenever it may be.

Wow -- I'm impressed with the weight loss and the running achievements! (I didn't know you had a weight problem -- you always looked skinny to me!)

Congratulations on both. I tried to ramp up too fast from 5K to 10K and hurt myself (though I did finish). I'm just getting well enough to start easing back in.
