Back From UK, Financially Challenged Trousers
Got back from the UK Filk Con safely, though taking a connecting flight is much more tiring than the direct flight used to be.

Pants are bankrupt, as might be expected.

In other news, we've taken the Atlanta house off the market in order to refinance to a lower fixed rate. This will hopefully carry us through the period where ladyat is building up the freelance business.

So, of course, the other house in the neighborhood will sell while ours is off the market. Stands to reason.

It was wonderful to see you both again (and to get to play with you a little!)

Do you have a refi lined up already? I've heard in the news that there can be trouble trying to get refinancing on a house that's been on the market unless you wait six months or so.

Because it is with the existing mortgage company it only needed to be off the market 24 hours prior to the application.
