The Recording Proceeds Apace
The target is to have presales (with bonus preliminary mix tracks!) at Detcon, LonCon, and Shamrokon, with CDs finalized before OVFF.

Still need to get cover art, though a couple of irons are in the fire.

Status so far:

Recorded and in preliminary mix stage:

Women With Drums (recorded live at ConFlikt 2012, for And They Said It Wouldn't Last)
Jug of Punch (archive recording, for Bye and Bye)
Caretakers (remix from Owling at the Moon, for And They Said It Wouldn't Last)

Mostly done but need a few more tracks laid down:

Une Chanson Sans Amour (new recording, for And They Said It Wouldn't Last)
This Turn of the Wheel (mostly remix from Owling at the Moon, for And They Said It Wouldn't Last)
Drinking with the Man in the Moon (mostly tracks recorded live at ConFlikt 2012, for And They Said It Wouldn't Last)

The rest are waiting recording to start (or track processing to take place for a few more songs from ConFlikt) and, in a couple of cases, copyright contacts.

The Bedlam House studio has been ripped to shreds (figuratively) and rebuilt (somewhat literally), using an M-Audio ProjectMix interface borrowed from the infinitely accommodating billroper. Turning a closet into a fairly sound efficient booth, complete with acoustic treatment that at least ameliorates the worst offenses, means we may actually be able to crank some things out. Assuming, that is, we have time between taking music lessons, playing at newly discovered local Irish sessions, and ... oh, yeah, that work thing.

Current Music: Bill & Brenda Sutton, of course!

Didn't you have a concert @ Worldcon last year that you can raid for audio??

I don't have a multitrack output, and I don't think there was anything particularly outstanding there. Conflikt had Betsy, and bunches of really cool people like vixyish on songs that came out awesome, and John's multitrack board dump is very usable.

I will email you about that with details. There is a multitrack that exists that I can relay. ( I just am at contata.)
