A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood
Some days more than others I remember why I missed Indiana so much and wanted deep in my bones to come home.

Yesterday afternoon, when the last of the trailing clouds had passed over, the day became beautifully sunny, dry, and mid-70's with a constant cool breeze - about as close to my perfect weather as I could ever ask for.

Today has dawned the same, though in the 60's for the morning, and I am torn between necessary mercenary activities and calling in "too well to work".

Sometime this afternoon or evening singedcat and her lovely will be here for their summer visit, we have our final Irish Arts Indy classes and a session in Carmel tonight, and the weekend looms glorious (albeit with a bit of warmer weather. Can't have everything, I guess.)

So, will y'all be about next weekend (the 22nd/33rd), and would you be interested in visitors. We're headed east, and not on a rush trip this time around. Alternatively, our return trip will be July 6/7. Or we catch you on a different trip :-)

I've yet to meet anyone (myself included) who has left the confines of Atlanta and said "You know what I really miss about north GA? The weather!"

Seriously. Because that never happens.

(It's been gorgeous out here this week -- breezy and mild, just the way I like it.)
